Hi, I’m Tessa and welcome to my blog!
Firstly, I’d like to point out that this ‘Lens’ of which I speak is a metaphor for life – can you tell I’m a writer? You see, there are many different perspectives from which one can tackle this grand, marvelous and messy thing called Life. When you think about it, you come to realize that the world is only ever seen through the eyes of different people (their “lens”) and that there is no such thing as one objective truth, really. Thus, here is my take on how to make sense of the big wide world which you and I call home. I do hope you enjoy 🙂
A Little Bit About Me
I grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa and am now living and studying in Cape Town – a beautiful coastal city that is built around a mountain and is often referred to as “South Africa’s Sweetheart”.
I have a severe case of The Travel Bug and my goal is to see as much of the world as I possibly can while I’m young.
I am absolutely passionate about animals – especially wildlife! And I think Africa is the best possible place for me to have been born.
I am a deep thinker, and I constantly challenge my own mind and consciousness – shower time is when I’m most productive in contemplating the meaning of life. I also love to use fancy words.
Look around, explore, read, think, challenge, drink a cup of tea, whatever your heart desires. Just don’t forget to take life with a pinch of salt every now and then.
